About Keith

Experience matters most when it helps you see the situation clearly.

Keith MacCuaig has spent most of his working life around property, people and real estate decisions. His real estate career began in 1990, and over the years he has learned that the best advice usually starts with listening before talking.

Listen before advising

Understand the person before the property

People often arrive with a clear picture of what they think they need: a location, a feature, more land, less maintenance or a certain kind of home. Keith pays attention to those details, but also wants to understand what is driving them.

If the real goal is privacy, room for family, easier upkeep or a property that solves a particular need, there may be more than one way to get there. Keith helps make those options visible.

No need to fill every quiet moment

Room to think

Keith does not believe every quiet moment needs a sales pitch. At a showing, he will point out what matters, answer questions and then give you space to look around or talk privately.

The same principle carries through the process. Ask questions. Look at another property. Reconsider something. Take the time required to make a decision you can be comfortable with later.

Experience in context

A long career, kept in perspective

Years in real estate bring familiarity with contracts, negotiations and markets. More importantly, they bring perspective. Keith has seen straightforward transactions and difficult ones, strong markets and uncertain ones, and people making decisions for all kinds of reasons.

He has also been recognized for his sales work and served as President of the Cornwall & District Real Estate Board. Those are meaningful parts of his professional history, but they are not how he measures every successful transaction. The people helped and the problems solved tend to be the stories he remembers.

Before real estate

Practical roots

Keith spent years farming before real estate became the larger part of his working life. While farming is no longer his profession, that background still shapes how he sees property and approaches a problem: calmly, directly and with an eye for what matters.

It also gives him a natural understanding of rural and agricultural property. Agriculture is only one part of Keith's practice, but the perspective he gained from those years still matters.

One person, one approach

Professional without the performance

Whether the property is a first home, a long-held family property, rural land or a higher-value residence, Keith's approach stays the same: listen carefully, give clear advice, deal with complications and respect that the final decision belongs to the client.
